<p><strong>The pneumatic active skimmer provides the new and the more effictive<br>way to remove LNAPL from underground water. This system bring<br>together two efficient technologies :</strong><br>Pneumatic pump type SPP-2’’ : Entirely automatic, the SPP-2 pump is<br>regulate by an internal float. The pump automatically stop when there is not<br>enough product and restart when the product arrive again.<br>Gravity Skimmer SPG-2’’ : Gravity skimmer allows to recover all flotable<br>product from the interface (Water/ LNAPL) The system can follow the water<br>fluctuation on 45 cm.<br>How it works :<br>The Gravity skimmer recover all LNAPL product from the interface. The product<br>go down by gravity into the pneumatic pump. When the pump is full, the internal<br>float come in contact with the mecanism and open the air pressure. The<br>product is discharge through the center pipe to the surface. The system is<br>working by cycle and is entireley independant. The Pneumatic acitve skimmer<br>SPP-2Combo can recover LNAPL product for 30-40 meters down with an<br>efficiency of 0,5 mm.<br>Performances and Technical benefits :<br>Performances :</p>

<p>Dedicate for LNAPLs recovery in wells and piezometers</p>



<p>The Pneumatic Active skimmers model SPP-RSS are composed as follows :<br>-Pneumatic pump SPP3-TL (Top loading) or SPP4-TL : The pneumatic pumps SPP are in TL<br>version (top loading) and are design for skimming products (LNAPLs) or Total recovery. These SPP<br>pumps are fully automatic and pneumatic and ATEX Certifed.<br>-Skimmer RSS : Specific membrane (Oléophile/Hydrophobic) « SILMEM<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> » allow to recover only<br>hydrocarbons at the interface (LNAPLs). This membrane is dedicated for light oil such as (unleaded,<br>,gazole, kérozen, etc) – The RSS membranes are fully automatic and very efficient..</p>



<p><strong>HOW IT WORKS :<br></strong>The Pneumatic active skimmers is lowered into the well or piezometer at the interface (Oil/water).<br>The RSS membrane must be located at the right place to recover the maximum of product.<br>The product fall down into the pump by gravity and rises the internal float of the pump to<br>the triggering of the pump.<br>The product is then forced back to the surface.</p>

<p>Dedicate for LNAPLs recovery in wells and piezometers</p>



<p>The Pneumatic Active skimmers model SPP- Combo si a combination between a pnematic pump<br>pumps (SPP3 TL or SPPA-TL) and SPG gravity skimmer :<br>-Pneumatic pump SPP3-TL (Top loading) or SPP4-TL : The pneumatic pumps SPP are in TL<br>version (top loading) and are design for skimming products (LNAPLs) or Total recovery. These SPP<br>pumps are fully automatic and pneumatic and ATEX Certified.<br>-Skimmer SPG : Gravity skimmer which allow to recover only hydrocarbons at the interface (LNAPLs).<br>The SPG skimmer is moving up and down with an accurancy of 1.5 mm.The RSS membranes are fully<br>automatic with a very good efficient..<br>HOW IT WORKS :<br>The Pneumatic active skimmers is lowered into the well or piezometer at the interface.<br>The SPG skimmer must be located at the interface (The float must be located at the middle of<br>the distance) to recover the maximum of product.<br>The product fall down into the pump by gravity and rises the internal float of the pump to<br>the triggering of the pump.<br>The product is then forced back to the surface.<br>BENEFITS :<br>-Allows selective recovery directly in boreholes or piezometers,<br>-Fully automatic and pneumatic – ATEX Certified<br>-Low maintenance and easy to install<br>Air consumption : 2.5 m3/h @6 bars (depending of the depth)</p>

<li>Tank for gazoline storage fitted up with a ¼ bottom discharged valve for emptying,<br>-Oleophilic / hydrophobic membrane « SILMEM<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> » for oil recovery.<br>-Design for LNAPLs such as gasoline, kerozen, unleaded, etc…</li>



<li>Suspension cable stopping the system, when the skimmer is full.</li>
</ul>



<p><strong>HOW IT WORKS :<br></strong>RSS Selective Passive Skimmer is placed to the interface water/hydrocarbure.<br>The suspension cable must be in contact with the bottom of the tank.<br>The « SILMEM<img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/14.0.0/72x72/2122.png" alt="™" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> » membrane is catching the LNAPL oil and allows the separation Oil with Water.<br>The recovered product is then filled into the tank. The RSS Skimmer sinks into the water, when the tank is full or the suspension cable is in contact with the upper zone of the tank,.<br>The RSS Skimmer can be removed from the well and be empty before installing it again. A 12 Volts peristaltic pump could be used for pumping product inside the tank (option)</p>
